Figure Drawing

My figure drawing class has ended, but it was a great semester. I made a couple of pieces that I'm really happy with. I've always loved watercolor but I really fell in love with using Asian calligraphy brushes to paint with. They make some really cool looking effects. I will post my best pieces to my deviantartI've decided I hate using charcoal

I really really like the first one! Alot of people dont like charcoal...im one of the weirdos who does enjoy it. I like the idea of pushing something around with my fingers and creating art with it. i enjoy feeling it beneath my finger tips...but everyone has their likes...i cant get a grip on paints and watercolors...so yeah. :P

Yeah, it's amazing what some people can do with charcoal! There was a guy in my art class who almost seemed to "sculpt" his pictures out of charcoal. He loooooved charcoal, LOL. He would always come up to look at my pictures and get charcoal finger pints on them >_
