The cars I had (boring post for anybody without no interest in old cars)

All the photos are found at the net, trying to get the model with the colour so close as possible as which I had. I didn't put photos from my original ones because some of them where afraid to appear here. Those guys are so shy!

Such character! Great cars.
We just got a 1959 Renault 4CV into inventory that looks very similar to the one on the right side of this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_4CV
It's just the cutest thing ever!

Oh, yes, I know perfectly which car it is. It reminds me to my childhood when we had still some of them by the streets :)
In France it was -among the Citroën 2 CV- the best seller car along all the fifties. It was a very cute car also :)

Well, I think that there are any kind of them in all times but I agree that the old ones, at least, had a lot more personality: it was far easier to know from which label were each one :)

I had a Mini, a bright yellow one!

I worked with a guy who had a collection of old cars and used to drive one of those Citroen CVs most days. I think they're affectionately called Ugly Ducklings here. :-)

The Mini rocks! :D I loved to have that car. It was my favourite after the 2cv. I ever dreamed to have one -when I was a child it was the best selling car here among the Seat 600- and none of both were nothing special but even very vulgar. However i ever loved the 2 cv and yes, I agree that it was an Ugly duck: when it was presented to the Paris Automobile Fair in 1948 every mocked at it. In 1991, when it was finally stopped to be produced, all their contemporaries were museum pieces, with more than 7,000,000 cars produced all along the world (specially those countries with French and Spanish influence: half Africa, all South America, Center Europe, etc)The Ugly duck finally became a cult car -a swan :D- and it can laugh at other cars such poor Peugeot 3o4 -for example- who nobody knows wtf it is :D

Everyone I ever met who had an Ugly Duckling loved it. Some for the Mini and the original VW though the VW I ever owned was a Kombi van (half-shares with my sister while travelling in Europe). I am sorry about the new expensive VWs. They were meant to be an affordable people's car, dammit!
