“The flowers are always singing...”

Cheza / The Flower Maiden / Daughter of the Flower

permissions:

threadhopping: yes
backtagging: yes
hugging: yes - she will probably offer to do this herself!
kissing: maybe - depends on the circumstances? Actually, platonic stuff is fine, but if it's anything else she probably won't get it.
punching/physical violence/etc.: yes - but why would you? :( Also, be aware that a deadly poison runs through her body in place of blood, which can be potentially fatal when in contact with, especially if ingested. (Though it's said that this won't affect those with the flowers' blessing.)
killing: talk to me first.

things to know:

1. Cheza's true form is that of a lunar flower. Those with a good enough nose will be able to smell it, too. It would be difficult for an ordinary human to tell.

2. Cheza is blind. Ordinarily she can sense her surroundings fine (in a more advanced way than others, in some cases), but she will not be able to respond to written word! Audio/action/etc is always a go, however. More on this below.

3. She can communicate with plantlife and other living creatures. She'll probably be able to "understand" those that can't speak to a degree.

4. She's especially good at sensing emotions and will use this to gauge meanings and understand things (it more than makes up for not being able to read body language and the like, and warns her of those with malicious intent). If you're lying about how you feel, she might know, but that doesn't mean she'll always mention it.

statistics (for your visual needs):

species: Lunar Flower, based off the flowers of this cactus, which bloom and then die over the span of just a single night-- though they may take around a year to bloom.

age: Appears aprox. 13 in human years; was in a state of suspended animation for 200+ years after being alchemically created by the noble Darcia I. Taking the above into account, I'd say her real age is around maybe a year. (Which sounds a reasonable length for the series itself-- in which time she awakens, lives for a while, and then subsequently blooms and dies.)

build: Very small, very dainty. could break under too strong a gust of wind

wing color: White

voice: English, Japanese, singing. I honestly have no language preference, though I'll refer to the dub, first.

abilities in a nutshell: Nothing major, as she's physically defenseless, unfortunately. She can manipulate plantlife to a degree, has some minor healing abilities (or can at least help pain subside), and can lull creatures to sleep by song if she wills it- It doesn't happen every time she sings. Her presence is cited to be calming and meant to put others at ease.

I doubt any Luceti spirits will apply any time soon, except for maybe expanding upon her plant abilities. Nothing destructive, as it isn't in her nature to cause pain, and I don't think she'd have any affinity for such things.

She'll start to wither through either straining herself too much or by going more than a few hours without light and/or water. I suspect she wouldn't last an entire day.

Paradise, as described by Darcia I:

When are we born? When do we die? Why are we born? Why do we die?
The world has been destroyed and reborn countless times, always resurrecting from the ashes as Paradise.
It has happened before, and it will happen again. An endless cycle of life and death.
The world is a Paradise that was opened by someone. But this era, too, is almost at an end.
We have acquired the means to exceed our natural span of life, never suspecting that the world itself was finite in its existence.
This knowledge has left me in despair. My fate has fallen and scattered like the petals of a dying flower. Like the blast from a sandstorm, it has been worn down and weathered away.
As if to be purified, the world will be encased in ice... so that it can return to the beginning once more.
Paradise is a world that is opened by someone.

how Cheza perceives the world:

It has been implied more than once that Cheza is blind at least in the conventional sense, by both Darcia and the wolves. However, this isn't necessary to her and has never been cited as a handicap-- Rather, she just senses the world in a different fashion than a human (even a blind one) might, given that she's something else entirely.

• Cheza doesn't have any trouble navigating through just about anything. In fact, another of her kind was shown using the surroundings to conceal herself, revealing that even things at a distance are things that they are able to "see". They can run through forests and crowded cities without hitting trees or people. Cheza can tell that she's nearing the edge of something before walking off of it, knows what's going on around her, and can follow/pursue others without the use of physical contact. Through whatever other senses they use, they are able to realize a map of the area they happen to be in.

• Cheza is able to identify the location of people she knows even at extraordinary distances. She'll know you're coming even before you enter what would be the line of vision of an average person. Flying in an airship above the clouds, she was still able to recognize the presence of someone on the ground below, as well as vice versa. She has no problems telling people apart even before they speak, and can decipher between different species.

• She's extremely perceptive to emotions and thoughts (to a degree). That isn't to say that she'll be able to read your mind, but she can sense prominent emotions even from a distance and use this information to better grasp her situation (especially as a defense mechanism to identify who might be a danger to her). She can infer concepts from strong enough thoughts/emotions to understand things vaguely even without the use of speech (which is likely something unnatural to her as it is). No, she can't read thoughts word for word.

• Lastly, she is able to sense someone's abnormalities-- from something as minor as scars, to larger things such as wounds (she is extremely sensitive to blood, especially wolves' blood)-- and, in Luceti's case, will recognize other things that are off, albeit vaguely, given that there will be a lot she's unfamiliar with or doesn't understand.

She won't always mention these things unless she's confronted directly, not because she's hiding it, but rather because she doesn't really think much of it.

tl;dr Feel free to use this post if you think there's anything Cheza should know, or even anything you think that she shouldn't know. Otherwise, I'll be using my best judgement. (Nothing extremely intrusive.)
