I wonder if any of those people who have personal dilemmas involving whether or not to eat raw cookie dough realize that it's possible to make satisfactory cookie dough without raw eggs. There's always pasteurized eggs or flaxseed goop. -

Wilkie Collins was poly. In the 1800s. He was also addicted to laudanum (although since he was taking it for medical reasons and the options for treating chronic pain were a lot more limited in those days I don't think it's fair to judge him.)

I saw Brooklyn 99 for the first time last night (a lot of people I share fandoms with on tumblr like it), and it was indeed enjoyable. Andre Braugher is some kind of demigod of comical gravitas. -

I think the story of the Good Samaritan loses some of its punch in modern retellings because your average 21st century Christian doesn't care much about cross-cultural tensions in ancient Judea, even if they know intellectually "yeah, some groups didn't get along." Very disappointed that Dragon's Crown doesn't give you more options in terms of character palette. I wanted to give my Amazon brown skin and pink hair and pretend I was playing Nicki Minaj the Warrior Princess.
