I haven't felt compelled to write in here in a while, but I am just in such a good place that I have to vent! I can't wait to go to grad school. I am going to get my Master of Divinity and my Master of Social Work, I am so excited. I truly want to spend my life serving other people, I really feel like that is my calling. Some corporate jobs are rewarding in different ways and also affect peoples' lives, but in different (less direct) ways. Design buildings is rewarding because you can see a sketch you did become constructed into a great building you can walk through and enjoy. And it also can make people very happy and improve their lives, and that's one of the reasons that I enjoy doing so much architecture work for the YMCA. When I visit the facilities and see people excited about the building, or working out, and kids playing, or people commenting on how much they appreciate the new building for the community - that feels great!
