My connection with Martin is so unbelievable. He can tell when I am judging someone... and tells me to stop. Martin and I have officially been  together for 4 years and 6 months as of today. Damn. 

I have another 10k race next Saturday and my dad is doing it with me, he did about 3 miles in 45 minutes today, he runs MUCH slower than me but I am still impressed that he is running the race ( Read more... )

I ran the 15k in Tampa this morning, Martin, my parents and my little brother came out to watch me. They were really supportive and I was impressed that they all came considering they had to get up at 6:00 in the morning to drive to Tampa. I finished the 9.32 miles in 1:47.82, that's approximately an 11.5 minute mile, not too bad considering I did ( Read more... )

Ummm wow, so much to update. Ok, so I have decided not to graduate early since my thesis sponsor is taking leave next fall, really hard to write a thesis when your adviser isn't around. Also, the other sociology professor is taking leave for the whole year which really pisses me off, how can they let 2 people in a 3 person department take leave at ( Read more... )

Don't ever go running when you have to poop. I didn't discover this need until I was half-way done with my run and the second half was very very painful, I felt like my whole abdomen was exploding.

I made delicious pad thai last night from scratch, soo good!
