Where I moved to, there are cows all around me. Well, within 100 yards anyway.

Last night it was raining, and a thought occurred to me.

Howcome cows can stand outside in all sorts of shitty weather, rain, snow, etc, yet my expensive leather shoes fall apart the moment you walk into anything resembling water?

Italian leather = the best leather. Maybe that's why yours are falling apart. Botswana isn't really known for their leather boots. But hey, for $4.99, it's really a deal on sunny days.
