Ever noticed that some New Yorkers act provincially, as if they have no need of understanding other areas of the country or world when they possess neighborhoods so exceptionally diverse? While they may be right--NYC is a fantastic trip--I wonder how much they miss by not allowing themselves to see beyond the confines of their own city, community

Nope. That was Madeline Peyroux. This music is more trance-techno-poppy. Perfect for viewing the world in various incarnations, imho.
