Thanks. Just noticed that the BBC America site had the date plastered in bold letters up top! D'oh!

Don't know how I feel about the new direction they are taking with the writing, though.

Now I just need to find someone with cable whose home I can invade on the 17th.

You are right, Steven Moffat has written some good work. It is not the quality of the writing that I object to--I daresay that has actually improved some over the years--but the fact that it is becoming more fantasy than science fiction. Not that I object to fantasy, quite the contrary, I await the George Martin HBO series with baited breath! And, yes, Dr. Who has always been a blend of the two. But I fear that they are escalating the drama and fantastic elements to a point that the low-budget latex monsters and cruddy special effects actually seem more plausible.
