Jinguk whispers into Jason’s ear, with a smile which it will break in any second, he runs away being followed by those men in suits. He can’t turn around to see if Jason is alright; his legs are moving faster as they can. The freezing winds is hitting his face, he keeps running and not looking back. The noises of the boots hitting the ground are fading as he hides into a dark alley, Jinguk sees the other men running with a confusion expression, passing him. He breaths deeply, receiving the cold air into his lungs.

Step by step, Jinguk goes to his beloved “home” which it’s a garage located underground. He kicks the door and gets inside, falling on the ice floor as his eyes are staring the ceiling. He knew his father won’t stop searching for him, the old man is sending too many agents just for me. What his father said two months ago is becoming real by any seconds, he wants to send him to study in USA by any cost. He doesn’t care if Jinguk wants it or what he wants of his life; the elections are first on his list of priorities, like always.

He has been in his garage for days; his friend comes to see if he is still alive, bringing food with him. Every time he comes, Jinguk wants to ask about Jason but he bits his lips.

“Don’t try to contact me” Jinguk whispered those words, caressing Jason’s ear and cringing his heart. Now the guilt is sinking him.

“Dude, do me a favor” His friend looks at him with surprise but he nods.

Jinguk walks with fear of being seen by those men, he reads the paper of his hand over and over again. He can’t afford to make a mistake. It’s 2AM, no one is walking except him and the cars are passing too fast. Finally, he finds the street and the house. With two knocks to the door, he waits to see the owner.

“What the fuck?!” He hears it even if the person is yelling inside of the house. The door has been opened and a short guy is staring at him with an angry look which lasted only for two seconds. “What?!”

“Can I come in?” Jinguk’s soft voice almost disappears when a car passes. Jason leaves a space for Jinguk to enter his house. It’s a humble place; the kitchen, living room and bedroom are all convened in one room. Jinguk stares at Jason’s reactions, the shorter licks his lips as his eyes stares the floor and then they look at him.

“How do you…?” The owner of the place goes to his room to cover his upper body with a hoodie instead of having his chest naked.

“My friend got the address from the school’s files” Jason invites Jinguk to sit on the big old couch; he does as he is told. Jason sits next to him, with a thousands of question to ask but the only one who comes first from his lips is: “Are you a stalker?”

“You were the one who appear on the park and kissed me”. Jason sighs. “Sorry I didn’t want to say it like that… I just…”

“Why you came?” Jinguk can feel Jason’s anger becoming bigger because of him. But Jason doesn’t feel angry for having Jinguk in his place, he is angry for no knowing what happened to him. It’s hard to meet a person who you like and lost it in second by mysterious ways and under men wearing suits, looking like a classy mafia.

“I… I want to clear up something.”

Their eyes can’t look away from each other, Jinguk starts talking with soft tone of voice which makes Jason to feel warm. He is opening his heart to a total stranger, but somehow it makes sense in his mind. Jason is listening how Jinguk suffered by having a father in the government, how he had to hide from every paparazzi to know he is the son of their politician.

“A while ago, I tried to get away from those men you met and a car appeared from nowhere. I couldn’t stop and I got hit. Thanks to the driver, I could go to the hospital but my knee was compromised. The doctor told me I couldn’t walk for months, so I had to make the idea of never dancing again.” Jason opens his mouth but the words won’t come out, Jinguk smiles with a bittersweet sensation. “You don’t need to tell me anything.”

“But I saw you dancing” Jinguk nods, bitting his lips. “Or it was an illusion?”

“You saw me trying to copy your movements, I thought it will hurt if I dance now but it didn’t”. Jason noticed Jinguk’s lips are dry so he got up without saying anything and took a coke from the fridge.

“Coke?”

“Oh thanks” Jinguk comes closer to Jason, being a few inch apart from him. It isn’t raining, they aren’t in the park but the same feeling from that time is coming back for them. “You still didn’t answer me”.

“What is there to answer?” Jason plays safe but he knows what Jinguk asked indirectly.

“Why you kissed me?”

Jinguk has been asking it himself the same question day after day. He knows his sexual orientation, another of the reason his father feels disgusted by him but he doesn’t understand why someone so perfect or good looking like Jason would kiss him. It was for fun? A thing from the moment? Want to try how a thin pair of lips feels to be kissed?
