Now that I've got the drama out of the way, my only advice would be don't try too hard to become one of the theatre people, because you might not like what you become.
Just be yourself, make friends with who you do.
Not that I've been agonizing over an entirely similar crisis recently, or anything like that...
And don't listen to Grayson. It's not that John likes to give sophomores a hard time, he just likes to give Grayson a hard time. I've seen it.
I know exactly what you mean, they seem so intimidating up there on stage and then, you just get awkward when you see them in real life. Don't get wrapped up but have fun, they can be an exciting bunch. I'm SO happy for you and excited for your show and all that jazz.
