I so totaly understand what you are saying. and I'm just a Techy!

I would go into the theatre last year and gaze at the stage in awe, and I'd sneek back stage to see my roomates in their tech jobs and scope out the different spaces.

Then i finally got to work on Into the Woods and every day I would get excited about seeing the theatre people and being in complet control of the backstage and wooping those quick changes arsses!!

Woah. I totally know what you mean. Every time I'm at rehearsal, I feel like I'm at church undergoing some kind of religious experience.
