1. you and me both on the french thing. i never ever ever can formulate a sentence, or even phrase, when needed, yet i can understand a fair amount and even can read a bit. frustrations!
2. i love your photos so much!!! especially the one of your pal colby.
3. your mini paragraph on isolation could've been written by me. i feel the exact same way. it's terrifying to become used to being alone. i have even begun to become socially awkward because i spend so much of my time by myself. i can't speak to anyone in my village (obviously there is a language barrier), so i walk around feeling awkward everywhere i go. ack!
I can't imagine how difficult it would be to be in a whole other continent with language barriers. Not to mention you do not have all your old friends with you (though you seem to have made a few new ones :) ). But, as a consolation you have gotten the opportunity to explore so many beautiful locations, at the least! It' difficult being alone, though. Definitely.
I know! Though I appreciate and understand why I must learn the foundations, the first semester still sounds dreadfully boring to me, but the second...I'm going to have a lot of fun, I think.
Woah, that program sounds all kinds of awesome and fun! :) Where will you be taking it? Eh... that's the one thing Im not looking forward to about graduating with a BFA. Jobs. Uhhh. lolz. As I've been saying since I picked this path, I'll live in a tiny box of a place, but it will be fully of pretty things X) On the other hand, Im actually looking forward to being in Montreal just so that I can practice my french. Just because I grew up with it doesn't mean I can remember it :/
-No! Actually, the changing of the guards is something they (supposedly) do every day! -And omg, those racoons are adorable! I saw a little girl with a racoon teady bear at Chapters today and it made me super happy X) - You look so pretty :3 -I love that arial view of the construction site! I love how all the houses around it are so bright and colourful (uhh. okay, mostly just red). -Hahaha. I love how Phil changes his hair so much, with lots of crazy colours, and it looks good on him no matter what. You have a camelion for a boyfriend.
Oh, and I wasnt 100% sure, so I looked it up! (It's been about a bajillion years since I've been to or even heard of it happening).
"It's Canadian tradition at its most colourful! The Ceremonial Guard of the Canadian Forces bring stirring military drill and music to Parliament Hill. Come early (9:45 am) to learn more about the ceremony. Interpretive presentation on the ceremony at 9:45am on Parliament Hill.
June to August and performed daily (weather permitting):

Oh! I had never witnessed the changing of the guards before. Quite the event to happen every day.
