There are times that I begin to doubt myself, my life, my decisions. Most of my friends who are my age are in college, sure to be successful and happy in the future, easily employable with their nice degrees. The first night is January 26th. I don't know when the other performances are. It's for Frontera Fest Long Fringe at the Blue Theater, so the performance dates are a little weird.

Phil, a word of advice from a man who wishes he was as smart as you when he was your age.

First, college is great, but it will wait for you. Ride this thing as far as it'll take you because unlike college, this won't come around again. College degrees don't make you easily employable, and I've found that while there is value in it, it doesn't matter one lick if you haven't found yourself and haven't found yourself happy.

Rock, Phil. Rock like there's no tomorrow. Because there isn't -- by the time tomorrow gets here, it'll be today, and soon after that, it'll be yesterday.

The degree isn't the point. Go out just to meet people and have new experiences. Don't put off the slam! That shit keeps your juices flowing.
