my painting final is kicking my ass:
it's by far the biggest thing i've ever done (6.5' x 4.5'), and i go through phases of being really excited about it to being terrified of it and having to stop and lay on the floor for a while before i can touch it again. this is the first time in the twenty or so hours i've spent on it that i've been pretty confident it'll turn out okay.
I still have to:
-paint floorboards in perspective (shit)
-fix and finish the arm and paint a hand
-paint the face (foreshortened, difficult as hell), and finish the hair
-complete feet (easy)
-paint the background (white wall + shadow)
which equates to probably another fifteen or twenty hours of work.
it's due wednesday, but it needs at least three days to dry before i can roll it up and take it to school. i keep finding pthalo blue in weird places on my body. please excuse shitty macbook photo.
