I saw that my sword is different

I was working in the church the other day, and I noticed that my healing sword is changing as I'm using it! There's a little grey line along the side of the sword, and it's been slowly filling up with red instead of grey. It's aaalmost all the way red, now. I wonder what it means?

Maybe it runs out of power.

[How much injury has it absorbed so far? Just various scratches, bruises, thumb-smacks via hammer? Sakura's tough, but not completely superhuman.]

Maybe. It doesn't seem to be getting weaker or anything, though...

[[The power of the blast is constant - bigger injuries just charge it faster. The attack would probably be powerful enough to cause some fairly serious damage to Sakura - it happens twice in canon, destroying a big monster once and comically exploding a bunch of angry mooks the other time. Hard to judge.]]
