[Like most others have before, Rena is currently standing in front of this supposed portal to home, looking at it with a serious expression on her face. She turns for a moment, glancing back at Luceti, at all the friends she knew and loved here, before shifting again to face the portal

[Adell's totally Batman right now. As in, he walks up to her, apparently without her noticing and is not far behind her before speaking.]

You're not sure if you want to go in, are you?

[Oh snap. Rena jumps at the voice and whirls around with a panicked expression, which softens upon seeing Adell. Let's try to smile for him and conveniently ignore his question.]

Oh, Adell-kun! Rena didn't hear you!

[He looks up at the portal.]

Hard to believe this thing even showed up.

[And she glances back as well, her expression turning serious again.]

[Rena might notice that Elisa's been there the whole time, just talking to people who are hanging around or studying the portal. She notices Rena there, and she goes over to her, notebook in hand.]

[Rena blinks and shakes her head slowly before turning to face Elisa, a bit of a forced smile on her face]

Oh, um...Rena was just wondering if the portal really works.

[with some serious effort and a few breaks, she made it to the portal. And now Rena's there. She looks over at her, shivering for some reason despite the heavy coat - after all, she's prepared to return to Keterburg]

[She turns at the voice, smiling weakly at Nephry]

[And she turns back to the portal, silent for a moment]

[Sonic's been out on guard, checking to see who's been going in as well. He spotted Rena so he approached.]

[She doesn't turn to face him, instead staring straight ahead at the portal.]

...Do you think it's true, Sonic-kun? Do you?

[He looked at the portal, still somewhat amazed that it was actually there. It was hard, he didn't know if it would work either.]

... I still don't. Even if it is true, then no regrets. If it is true, then you never know, this might happen again, despite what the letter says.

[Rena laughs softly, although there is nothing resembling humor in her voice]

It does seem like a trap, doesn't it?
