[The first thing you get is a scoff. So welcoming, right? Well if that doesn't sound pleasant here's an added bonus - the camera is obscured so that Rena can't see anything in the camera but the white wall of Bern's apartment complex.]

[...The voice is familiar somehow. Like many others, Bernkastel gives Rena the impression of someone else completely, and there's a flashing, panicked thought of "Rika-chan-?"

But no. Something was different about this voice.

[A few moments after that Bern moves the camera to show herself. She looks like Rika, but her face is clearly different. A lot more blank.]

[There's a another fleeting thought of Rika before her mind registers the look on her face. The dull tone.

...No. They may look alike, but Bernkastel and Rika were entirely different people.

[Shopping for food, all day everyday. Boy, Saber can eat the entire household out of business and Tohsaka isn't shabby either. Shirou himself is carrying six armfuls of stuff in his two arms when he walks by.]

[She glances up at the sound of someone's voice. Unfamiliar voice, unfamiliar face. But it was to be expected; how long it had been since her last encounter with this place was anyone's guess.

[She laughs softly, though the sound is a bit weak.]

[But Rena does slide off the fountain's edge to make her way towards him, peering at him curiously.]

[Keiichi's voice is one that won't be sounding through the journals. It's not that he has been actively limiting his use of his journal, just that he has been busy. He didn't have many things in his apartment but still he wanted to bring them to the new house, and then they had to bring some new things and all. The usual stuff upon moving around, even if Luceti kind of already had the houses ready to enter living on them

[Rena doesn't see Keiichi running toward her until he's nearly upon her. The image is haunting her, still replaying in her mind. Keiichi, leading them into battle with his head held high. The crack of Takano's gun and the bat tumbling from his hands. Mion's body tumbling down before them, lifeless and bloodstained.

...And the hollow, unforgiving barrel of Takano's gun as Rena's stared down what she knew to be her own death. It was like a never-ending record of tragedy.

How fitting, considering what Rika had told them before.

In any case, it's only by pure luck that Rena looks up in time to see someone making a beeline toward her, and her eyes widen considerably as her mind disbelievingly puts a face to the body as it comes into focus.]

[Yes. That's right. He was here, wasn't he? He was here and healthy and alive...]

[...But her body's in too much shock to steady herself for the embrace. He barrels into her and before she can return the affection or even really register what's going on, Rena can feel her stomach lurch uncomfortably as she teeters dangerously over the edge of the water, and...and....

Oh damn, they're both going into the fountain aren't they.

There might be a squeal coming from the girl underneath him before they both tumble in.]

[The water is cold. Specially in the middle of November. It stabs the flesh and it's certainly a crash of reality. Because if it hurts it means that it's real, right? Not a dream, or an hallucination. And her body is still there. Warm even if a bit cold due the weather and the light sundress, and solid in his arms even as they submerge in the water.

Keiichi reaches forward with an arm to hold them up, getting out of the water inmediately so they're just sitting in the middle of the fountain. The other arm still holding her close and protectively.

He won't be saying a word for a moment, just holding her, trying to sort out his thoughts. Rena is here. Again. And Takano is here too. And Hanyuu. And Haruki's gone. Does she remember? Does she not? What does she remember? Where is she from? From which world? How will he explain things if she doesn't remember Luceti? How will he explain them if she remembers?]

[Sonny is strolling around the town today, looking for some warmer things to wear in the shops, but the sight of an unfamiliar face stops her. A poor, sweet, innocent, sad-looking girl sitting by herself at the fountain? That just won't do! With her best cheering-up intent, Sonny approaches.]

[She is taken out of her reverie by the cheerful sound of another girl. Ah. Unfamiliar. It was to be expected.

But Rena smiles at her, regardless. Unfamiliarity was no reason to be unfriendly. In fact, it could be a blessing.]
