Everyone deserves happiness and I'm denying myself so I don't hurt someone else. Sometimes I wish I was a callous bitch.

I agree with a general philosophy of kindness, but at the same time I think that a person needs to be giving themselves happiness first before they try to keep someone else happy. I know first-hand how difficult that is, though.
