Recent news is that Boo went in for her surgical consult on Friday, and it will cost (just called to check) about $2000-$2500 per knee to make her less gimpy. I had thought that was total, but just called to check, and yeah. I have enough money, barely, but it just seems like it's way too much now. When I thought it was $2000 total, I could see

Yeah poor gimpy Boo. I will just try to do all the non-surgical things I can to keep her healthy. I was just really sad today when I realized that I couldn't really logically pay that much to fix her knees.

I can't imagine what you're going through. Those kittens are your babies! I can't believe how much they want to charge you for her surgery. :( This is just awful. :(
