DRx Illuminator

Anyone who has tried the DRx Illuminator & Lightener, any reviews? I'm really tempted to get it after raves from Riverie! My skin has been looking really bad with stubborn pimples erupting all over my face and blemishes which just refuse to go away :( I need a really good blemish lightener to remove marks. Any recs?

i tried the lightener but didn't think it was that fantastic.

you might want to try glycolic gel? i'm using maple clinic's, i think it's 10% and they do have a higher & lower concentration. i think that's alot more effective in helping to fade scars if you use it religiously.

How much is the glycolic gel from Maple's? It's from Niks yes? I do not have the time to go to Maple's at all, hearing about the queues and all that. If I just head over to the Niks shop at Novena, will the SA be able to advise me on the correct concentration for my skin?

I've heard about a glycolic gel from Peter Thomas Roth as well, but that's really expensive!

yes, from niks. you can get it from the niks shop @ novena, but i don't think they sell the sample size. think the SA should be able to advise you on the correct concentration but since they don't sell sample sizes, you're stuck with the bottle if it doesn't work, or if it's not effective enough.

i think the doc gives out sample sizes at the clinic just in case the concentration's not high enough, she can increase it and it's not such a waste if you don't use it enough.

sample size's $18 (lasts quite awhile too and i could see the marks fading even before i've finished the bottle!) the full size's more expensive but i can't remember, check cc?

i think her gel's 10%, the aha clarifier's 12%, jemay's using the clarifier.

Looks like I should go to the clinic for a consultation. Getting a sample size instead of the full bottle sounds better. Thanks for the info! I'm going to have to find my way to Tampines! :)
