it's not sticky, it brushes out without white 'dandruff' and it has v good hold. tt's why a lot of crew use it! cheap and good lah!
what 'effect' were u hoping for anyway?

Yea, I get the part where you can brush the hair without flakes. But the SMELL! Maybe it’s just me, I can’t stand it :S

i hate the smell too.. i think thus far, only the japanese ones have a tolerable "scent".
i used to use loreal too. confirm not sticky and holds the hair in place.

Yea, I think Japanese hairsprays are better in that department. Some of them are non-scented as well.
I don't like the scent of the L'Oreal Profession hairspray as well.
