Peter Doherty at Rhythm Factory 28.02.08

This is awesome, just Pete and his guitar.  Apparently, it's the third night of a three-night residency.  He's looking and sounding really good.  (The video's choppy in places, but it's worth watching.)

Wonderful boy, great night. Albion has a habit of really choking me up, especially when it's just Peter.

Same here. It's sweet, sad, and beautiful at the same time.

I do, too. It's such a happy song. I don't know what it's about, but you can tell they were really happy when they wrote it.

Let me think... What a Waster, Death on the Stairs, Can't Stand Me Now... LOL, doesn't sound very positive. They still make me smile, though. Probably because they were such happy times (mostly) when they were written. Ah, the Good Old Days.

I love them, too! I've been watching them for the past few days. They're soooo enchanting... it's hard to stop. :-)

I'm glad you're back online. I missed you! :D

Yes, they are really addictive! I remember only two years ago all those places like the Rhythm Factory seemed totally unreal to me, as if they existed on a different planet... I would watch videos of Peter gigs and Libertines gigs, trying to picture what it must have been like to actually be there on that night. Now it all seems so real to me - and not less enchanting for that, but even more so, which is a rare thing to happen. You really need to come over to the UK (and London specifically) and see it all for yourself, it's wonderful. You'll love it! :-)

Aww, thanks! :-D I missed you too! Currently I'm either working, on the road to strange places or battling my dodgy internet connection, but I hope things will improve soon. Well, the traveling to strange places part is fun, but I could do with less of the rest. ;-)

Wow, you've seen so many gigs in two years time, and now you're practically a Londoner yourself! That just sounds perfect. Yes, I'm just waiting for some new tour dates to be announced so I can plan a week in the UK (especially London)! My heart is already there, even if I'm way over here. :)

Aw, it's hard to be traveling and working all the time, so I hope that part calms down soon. I'm still looking forward to your Peter pics and vids, whenever you get the chance to post them! :D xxx
