I know I haven't updated in a while and it's not really because nothing has happened just because I was going to update about the zoo with pretty photos and stuff but my ipod broke so I can't transfer my photos from my laptop. I think I need to buy a USB stick ( Read more... )

wog festival. Wog is like slang for europeans (ie italians, maltese etc) it's kinda like nigga, only it's said with love. In other words there were lots of europeans and I felt a little out of place but hot guard is wog so I felt a little better about the whole thing.

Ah, gotcha. Makes me wish I had some obscure American slang to throw back your way, but thanks to globalization, I'm not sure there IS such a thing. :-) Of course, with all the regional dialects, who knows, eh?

There is an American guard at work and it always brings me such delight when he says "y'all" hehe it's funny! I love it. American slang that I heard recently which I didn't understand was talking about the "short bus" in regards to those that are not quite mentally apt.

Haha yeah, I didn't know anything about it, I walked in and I was like...ooooo yay! Hehe hot guard is Bosnian so I guess I should have expected it.

I am not really interested in hot guard in the long term he is just fun to hang around with and kiss *giggle*.

Awww crap...what happened to your ipod? Did you want your old mp3 player back? It still works ok! If I get this new job...I think I might invest in my own mp3 player...one with an FM radio...cause I like to have radio.

Glad you had a good drunken night on Thursday night! Sounds like fun! Sorry we haven't caught up much lately...our paths don't seem to be crossing too much at the moment. Hopefully we can get out and do something together before you go away.

Oh and there's a Big W catalogue in the paper today that has TDK and SanDisk 1Gb USB memory sticks for $47. That's pretty good! There's a Big W at QV in the city.

I dunno it's gone all crackly and it's not the speakers. If I could borrow my old mp3 play for the next 2 weeks until I go overseas and buy duty free goodness that would be great. I find it really hard to stay motivated at the gym without my music.

I am sure we shall catch up soonish.
