Now she's resting in the infirmary after having contractions, America staying beside her. The doctors simply told her to rest after making her drink three cups of ( Read more... )

B-but the baby isn't due until around Valentine's Day! That's...She'll be at least four weeks premature with the way she was growing!

[The nurse looks at her chart and tells her that from the last check up, she should luckily only be about three and a half weeks early, in terms of growth. "Please relax while I get the doctor. Your cervix probably hasn't even dialed visibly yet, and we may be able to send you home for a few hours first." She leaves, closing the door as Bing stares at her husband rather aghast.]

...Th-three weeks...

[Stares at Bing for a second.]

...I'm going to kill that Nazi when we get out of here, Isobella. If...if anything happens to you, or to the baby...

[She looks a bit sadly at Alfred.]

Come 'ere, baby ko.

[She holds out her arms for him, scooting a bit on the bed for him to sit. (The nurse had already changed the bedding and given her a pad for the amniotic fluid.)]

[Nods.] My cervix hasn't dilated, yet, so they sent me home to finish getting ready until my contractions start to increase, though.

So, can you give a hand? [She opens the door to the nursery. Most of the furniture is already set up, and the walls and carpet are done, but there's a box for a rocking chair that hasn't been assembled yet, the toys are still in their boxes and the baby's clothes are still packaged.]

[Laughs a little.] It's not Lillian's fault that I'm having her early... I ...I should have been more careful in who I talk to.

My big concerns are the chair there and getting the bottle sterilized. Oh, and setting up her changing station and the clothes. I can take care of her toys, though I need to pack for myself as well.
