'sought' is an irregular past tense so it's already used, unfortunately. But nit-night is awesome (I just thought of it myself. hee) and slit-slight might even be better (I bet 'slit' is more likely to be known by the average person than 'nit'). Thanks so much. :-)
meld-mold is the one we're trying to *replace*. I'm going with 'geld-gold' if no one can come up with something better. As I said to wolfling, 'sought-seek- is already in the experiment, so 'sought-sink' is unavailable. The 'ugh' irregulars are by far the hardest. I think I'll have to go with 'rough-rink' and give up trying to find something with a final 't' to match. :-( But thanks very much for trying.
I haven't verified yet that it's not a wip. It's unbelievably long. There are at least 20 parts and each one takes me about 3 hours to read. I'll send you the url when I'm on the other computer - I don't have it here.
And shoes on the dog walk, yay! (Here in the subtropics, the season's change is noted by wearing a T-shirt only, sans sweatshirt or jacket, on the dog walk. ;-))
I'm thinking London as a birthday gift to myself, we'll see. There's a conference in Pisa June 8-10 and one in Leipzip June 17-18, both of which I could love to go to. So clearly it would make sense to go to London in between, right? :-)
I know I gripe about the cold sometimes, but I can't imagine life without seasons. There's nothing like seeing a tiny little crocus leaf peeking through the snow for the first time after months of cold and grey. *swoons*

I can't come up with any for the others off the top of my head.

*thinks* These are both interesting and thoroughly frustrating... I'm going to be thinking about them all day. :)

No rush on the url because right now my head is too much of a swollen pumpkin to be able to actually concentrate much. But new fic sounds gorgeous.
