My manager asked me if i was willing to fill in as the city library's new mascot (SPLASH) for the grand re-opening of the bookmobile because the person who usually does it wasn't available. And I was always curious to know how it felt to be under a mascot costume so I was like "WHY NOT?" -- and it was much more interesting than I've imagined ( Read more... )

yeah the kids were adorable! esp. the one in the picture who seemed to have been the biggest fan. :P

it sure was! but i had an ice backpack and was only in it for a few minutes. and i didn't really mind cause the kids were just so excited. hehe.

it's pretty warm that's why they provided the icepack for the front and back. And I could only see forward which made it difficult for me to see the kids because I couldn't see below me. But yeah, like i said it was worth it 'cause they were so happy. hehe. and about the news, it's most likely the closest i'll ever get to "fame." HAHA!
