Don't worry about it I tend to half talk, a lot. I try to catch myself but it slips. What I should have put in bold was what's a good brand of RAM that's not too pricey.

Running Vista, plus I like to plan ahead when the day comes that porn will require more of my ram (using 79-88%) and those pesky things like Photoshop and Microsoft office and multi-task all of them at once while watching some movie on the side more then likely more porn.

So can you kindly answer the questions.

So if it is going to "possibly cause a lag" just go with the pc2-4200.

Also, if your laptop utilizes the dual channel stuff, it tends to run more efficiently if both ram sticks are identical in capacity (or so I've heard/googled).
