Endless blather on how blissfully happy I am takes too much time to write. I am back in Portland, and loving life. I thought that because I had been gone for so long things would feel weird, but they just feel normal. It feels eerily like I didn't leave at all, which is both really nice and slightly unsettling. I just love this city.

America. Fuck yeah.

It's so hard for me to turn off my computer, knowing that I won't turn it back on for about a week. Writing that, I realize that is an absurdly short period of time, but it still scares me a little. I feel naked already.

Holy shit am I tired/excited/hungry/pissed off. Stayed up until almost 4am last night packing and then woke up at 7:30 and couldn't get back to sleep for more than 25 consecutive minutes until 10 when I decided to say "fuck it" and get up. I think it should be written into Murphy's law that just as soon as you think you have your packing under control, someone will give you something else. You never realize just how much crap you have until you need to pack it all up. I think I've packed everything. Now I only have what I can't take, like my wine glasses (I will miss you, you beautiful things) and the trash left.
