There's just something unsettling about the concept of simple existence. Maybe it's because there's no set purpose, no attachment, no past or future to look forward to. Yet despite the glaring black hole of it all, there's something that says "Hang on." Hang on to an edge that's not even there. I keep reading whatever I can to learn. I heard that ( Read more... )

Having a conscious is far too over-rated. You will get much further in life if you don't have one. They tend to get in the way more often than not.

So you do, or did, have one?

I may not have a particular destination to go to anyway, but it's something that's brought me farther than I would have come otherwise. Or so I would like to think. It leads to other interesting things as well. Maybe I even like its challenge.

How much further has missing that part of yourself actually brought you?

You could say that I did at one time, but it was eventually done away with. I can't really say that I miss it at all.

And missing my conscious has made me a stronger being. Though I have had a few misfortunes along the way, the decision was well worth it.

You still remember that little detail?

I haven't been here long. Did you miss me already? As for where, if these doors keep leading to everywhere at once, I'm sure I'll come across you sooner or later. You're hard to miss.

You know, a place like this might bring in a lot of business if it didn't feel like we were the hunted. Again.

Of course I do. You make a hell of a first impression.

And what are you talking "already"? I've been here for months.

I don't know about business, strictly, but I've been nothing but busy here. I'll fill you in when we bump into each other.

Well I wouldn't want to disappoint.

But has it really been that long? I guess I lost track of the time, searching for you.

Anything I can help with?
