I am pleased. 5 snakes pleased.
Like Warren Ellis said, it's nice to see that storytellers are allowed to blow up NYC again. It was also gratifying to see an American film where the monster pretty much wins. I wanted to see a monster movie, I wanted to see massive explosions, and I got all that plus horrifying DEATHLICE. The way the story was set up was pretty awesome too.
Taking the 6 home aferward was unnerving, though.
