Some KKL and Endless Shock

Oct 31, 2009 00:41

I came across a post in domotokyoudai LJ comm about some people from some random forum saying stuff about Swan Song being the sign that this upcoming tour will be KinKi's last one together.

I find that to be pretty funny, considering that I just read Tsuyoshi's lovely comment in his latest TV Guide interview published a few days back.

The reason tha tpeople think that is because in western culture, a swan song means a last or final song. But... I don't really think KinKi know that *laughs* I mean even TOKIO has a swan song and that was a single or two ago.

People are just getting paranoid because there wasn't a lot of KinKi activity for some months, right? Me, I'll start worrying when they go as long as Takki and Tsubasa have.

LOL I think they should know about the meaning of Swan song :P

Haha but they just released a single and a concert tour is coming. That's why a rumour like that was pretty uncalled for :/

I think it also has to do with the amount of solo work they've both been doing, people I've talked to have been worried about that, but I keep trying to tell them that they could go do their solo stuff for months and months and both of them are always going to come back to KinKi.

I think the funniest thing I saw was a website that had swan song's kanji on it and the owner of the blog said that because of this song, KinKi were going to break up (both romantically and professionally) and Tsuyoshi was going to go overseas. I guess they got the meaning of the song decently right, but they just... attached too much of KinKi to it? It's like reading the lyrics for Yakusoku and going omg Kouichi's cheating on Tsuyoshi with a woman! How dare he?!

All rumours are pretty uncalled for, but at least in this fandom it's not really anything malicious, but more like... fans getting really worried and just not thinking things throught.

Well I guess in some ways they can get too emotionally invested in their idols. I think they should channel their creativity into writing some fanfics instead :P

Yeah, I'm glad that in general KinKi fandom is really tame and peaceful compared to some other fandoms :/

So our dear prince has decided to start his annual SHOCK on the Chinese New Year, or it can be the Valentine's day too, I kid you not.
Hm-hm-hm. Then Tsuyoshi will finally come to watch SHOCK on the opening day to give him the flowers and chocolates.>:D

I wonder if Koichi is trying to kill himself.
SHOCK in July means he will have zero time to rest what with the album and tour he promised as well as KK activities.
I wonder why he split the dates and why July...?!

Hmm now that you mentioned it, Koichi will be doing SHOCK on the 21st of July! The wedding anniversary lol. Perhaps Koichi needs some time off to celebrate wifey's birthday on April by doing another one of those honeymoon getaways. And then he will come back and all refreshed on July ahahahaha.... Ignore me, it's 3am here :P

Something more realistic that he might be doing on April-June: completing his upcoming solo album :D

It felt like ages.. that I did not leave comments.. :)

I can't blame the person on feeling that way..
For us who rely on translation.. it is quite easy to understand wrongly.. since we don't know what the real article really saying. or any new articles that might ease the feeling..

Thanks for clearing it up. :)

Another solo years? Oh..well.. I will wait patiently for their own composition album.. :)
