Heh, I program for a mutual funds company instead of a gaming company, and most of what I've written has been retired or is in the process of being retired. Might have been nice to work on a famous game instead, so I'd have a lasting legacy, but video game programmers get paid about half what other programmers get.

And, if the game's a flop, a fledgling company could easily go under. Still, you can't help but trust in a guy wearing a unicorn mask right? :-p
