holy best weekend ever
all i have to say is oh my god im so there!!!! Wolfsheim in city club in march!!!! cry now!!!http://www.darqueproductions.com/events.cfm?id=67
and this entry is really long, so go read it under the cut:
so i went to detroit this weekend, i'll post a pic of my rad outfit maybe. i put my hair up in pigtails and wrapped black and white bumpy yarn around. waay hott. i made a black top that tied crisscross around my neck(which made some nasty welts by the end of the night), with a black and pink striped skirt, wraps on my arms, with pink and purple makeup to die for. and of course the staple five inch tall black vynl buckled boots. yeah.
got lots of compliments at luna, and cityclub and the labyrinth---of which the Hellbound show was ... i got in free as courtney's +1 and then i got jeremiah in too. the show was hott. It was almost just all performance and show, not choreographed dance like c.a.s.p. theres a different girl named beth(she did the shows before) that did the hosting. They all had very good outfits, i liked brandi's alot. there was a live peircing skit with allen on the top of his wrists and they made him a little marianette, and broke all his toys, and another skit with a "nurse" and schoolgirl patient... and oh man tons of really creative thought must have went into that i think. but a LOT of downtime and just dragged out stuff.
I met up with mark and melony from grand rapids, and attempted to meet up with the whole crew that came down for miller's birthday with griffus, meyer, and everyone else,....but we kept missing them at every place we went. lame. but i danced my ass off at cityclub, and i met a really beautiful boy named derek... he was so pretty --that when i first was talking to him i was trying to figure out if this was a girl or boy... but (yay) it was a boy. and his eyes were almost glowing blue with dark shadow and liner. he had his blonde hair up in topknot pigtails...holy drooling ar this point... and a button up collared shirt and tie... looking like a godsend from "the cure" era. fabulous. and hes not gay. (haha)His name's derek, very interesting and quirky to talk to. And if he didnt live in rodchester, he'd be a good drummer to have around---a really good overall musician. .....and some really nice eyecandy too! :) (biggest grin ever)
i stayed with my boy jeremiah (i missed him so much its been so long since we hung out.) and we pretty much just fell asleep like bricks after getting home from cityclub, dancing so much and a shower. It was awesome to see the whole Causing a Scene crew-- zana, christopher, lark, courtney (we saw her workin at noir that nite too when we ate thai in royal oak) and everyone else. I was home. Good dancing (i guess --to be posh-- that theyre all good dancers/dressers) and definitely awesome etertainment.
Being single is really weird... and now i'm finding that i'ts hard to stay that way... oh my gosh. but i must resist!
