i decided to start putting some kind of mark through my pics cause i know people have been stealing them, and then posting them in places like moc and saying it's them. grrrr. i know it's not much but owell. maybe i can sue when i get all famous. hehe

You can use Adobe Photoshop to stick Digital copyright information into the file when its saved, as well as a digital watermark to prevent reproduction. You should look into those options, as well as visibly tagging the work with copyright information... I am just suggesting the other steps in addition to the visible tags so you can put the digital tags somewhere less obtrusive.
