Dear ShipSwap Author,
Hello! I'm really happy that we've matched on any of my fandoms + pairings, because I love them all and would love to see more fic in any of them:) I apologize for the length of this letter - feel free to skip whatever doesn't interest you! My prompts are a mix of phrases and possible plots - feel free to ignore/mix/choose what appeals to you in any combination (or just one) or ignore all if you have your own idea :)
General Likes: I love humor, romance, stories/art that explore sides of a character that haven't been dwelled on before, and slice-of-life things :) I have a weakness for a lot of tropes including against all odds, all the firsts (of a relationship or a friendship), arranged marriages that work out, coming of age, drunken confessions, earn your happy endings, embracing imperfections, finding home, happy endings, holiday fics, love letters, maybe ever afters, pretend couples become real, secret identities, strong friendships, unexpected love, unrequited pining that is eventually requited, and UST that eventually gets resolved. I do like most AUs (ex. Victorian, modern, crossover/fusion AUs (with any of the fandoms listed below, any fandom I've written for, or can ask the mods if you want ^^), detective AUs, different era AUs, fairytale AUs, mafia AU, medical AUs) :) I also like canon divergent AUs :) I love using different methods to tell a story (letters, emails, diaries, what have you). I also love missing scenes, pre-canon, and post-canon stories :) I also like '5 Things' Stories :)
Examples of H/C tropes I love: accepting injury to protect someone else, amnesia, atonement, illnesses, comfort food/item, cuddling, disappearing, falls from grace, forced to face fear, hospital stays, hugs, learning to be loved, mistaken identity, being on the run, sacrifices, scars, taking care of someone, trapped together, trust issues
General Dislikes: explicit underage sex (please age up any underage character), bad medicine/science (unless related to canon or plot point). Would rather not have rape/non-con unless needed for plot (and please not explicit), incest, scat, graphic violence, bodily fluid play, genderswap AU, A/B/O, bestiality nor mpreg please. I would prefer to not have any sex worker AUs/any of the characters getting a venereal disease/character death (of any of my requested characters). For this exchange I'd like no gen, please :)
I would love to receive anything for any of my requested fandoms and pairings - there are more prompts for some of them because 1) I've requested more pairings for those fandoms and racked my brain for fic prompts for all of them and 2) I had more ideas for some of them. :) My fandoms are ordered alphabetically and not in any order of preference :)

Archie Comics
Betty Cooper/Jughead Jones
I've loved this couple ever since I was a child and even the Married Life series hasn't extinguished my fondness for this ship, though I like the series :) There's so much I love about them - how they understand each other, how comfortable they are with each other, how sometimes they're the only sane people in their group of friends. I would love anything at all with them (as children, when they're in middle/high school, in the future). How would their first date go? How would they get together? (And when?) Established moments where they just show each other how important they are to each other! Finding each other again after a while (college? work in other states?)! Bonding over something that happens in Riverdale as teens/children/adults :) How they deal with a situation in school? (Or how they both dig one of their friends out of trouble?) Feel free to change any event already drawn in the comics (like prom/Homecoming/etc) as needed :)
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
I love this series for all that it is, so I'd love anything about any of my requested pairs here :) I've watched the anime (and the specials) and am caught up with the manga (and plan to keep up with it), so feel free to use details from either or both :) AUs are very welcome here as well as canon settings :)
Hori Masayuki/Sakura Chiyo:
I really like how these two balance each other (and how sometimes they are the only sane people in their group). Possible prompts: maybe Sakura helps out more with the Drama Club backgrounds (and controlling Kashima from messing things up) and things progress from there? Or something while helping Nozaki with his manga? (Maybe Sakura takes lessons on learning how to draw backgrounds from Hori to help him? Or helps him gather stock pictures for reference?) Maybe something post-high school - they end up in the same course and grow closer there? Maybe Hori actually gets his growth spurt and becomes a leading man and wows everyone including Sakura)? Hori helping her deal with her feelings for Nozaki (who remains clueless)?
Mikoshiba Mikoto/Sakura Chiyo:
I like this couple since Sakura is so capable of taking care of Mikorin and Mikorin shows her his true self (which he doesn't show to many, many other girls that he throws his charm at) and how they understand each other's weaknesses. Maybe something about Sakura moving on from her crush on Nozaki and Mikorin being less dense than Nozaki? (Or Mikorin being a second-guesser because he's Mikorin and not understanding that Sakura has moved on?) Maybe Mikorin starts trying his lines exclusively on Sakura and she thinks it's just practice so that he doesn't have such self-regret after saying them to other girls? Awkward first dates/kisses or not-dates that everyone else thinks they are? Maybe they play a galge together and Mikorin is shocked by Sakura's advice going against what he knows? Compared to Nozaki-kun, Sakura never had to think about how to answer Mikorin when he asked her anything. Future fic - when they're in university (and possibly still taking time to help Nozaki)?
Pokemon (Anime)
Citron/Serena | Clemont/Serena
I love this relationship in the anime - how they support each other and how they end up being the caretakers of their group as they travel over Kalos. Possible prompts: science opens up the future to a new relationship, after Ash leaves they grow closer, you can’t always have your first love returned, Bonnie intercedes for Clemont since he cannot be honest with his feelings for her (and possible matchmaking), Serena’s progression of feelings for Clemont; Serena teaches Clemont to cook poffins (wherein science isn’t the only answer); post anime, they keep finding reasons to find each other even if they're busy with their different careers.
Haruka/Ookido Shigeru | May/Gary Oak
There's no interaction with these two in the anime, but I love the possibilities of this pairing and wish there was more about them! Possible prompts: May returns to Kanto and while rechallenging the Contests there runs into Gary all the time? “Later, when you are older." Professor Oak asks Gary to help her with a Pokemon that’s difficult to train or maybe they have to travel together to meet Ash in a new region? Bonding over their Pokemon (both have Squirtle line and Eeveelutions)? Gary putting down Ash (jokingly) and May defending him loyally, causing Gary to be surprised and wonder about their relationship? Gary is dared to try coordinating and Ash asks May to help him? The possibilities are endless!
Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series)
Calme/Serena | Calem/Serena
I love how their relationship changes and deepens in the span of the whole game - how their relationship changes from cut-and-dried rivalry to wanting to understand each other and his/her Pokemon better and to want to improve for himself/herself alone. Feel free to include other characters/Pokemon as needed. Possible prompts: a slow progression of their relationship from friends to more than friends; they go on “not dates” that really are (but they don't know it); being matchmade by friends, falling in love without knowing it, chasing after her/him always and feeling like he/she’ll never catch up; discovering a Mega Stone together; she/he dates so many guys/girls but the right one has been there all along beside him/her; all the moments add up to a tomorrow.
Haruka/Yuuki | May/Brendan
This relationship was expanded heavily in the recently released ORAS, but I don't mind if you use the dynamics they have in R/S/E if you write this. What I like about the relationship is that... it's based on friendship (that takes time) and rivalry (though this rivalry is less pronounced compared to other games). There's a lot to explore, especially post-game, when they finally go their separate ways (one as a Champion and one as a researcher), but it's clear that they still want to keep their friendship (and that can develop into more). Possible ideas: traveling together (in Hoenn or another region), working together on a big project as a researcher and Champion, homecoming (after a while), one of them challenges them again to a match (for undetermined reasons), being trapped together in a cave, trying to find time for each other; “oh, she’s/he’s someone that I used to know”. Awkward dates! (In ORAS it's clear that the parents are supportive of a possible relationship, so anything involving teasing by their parents would be lovely.) How would they change their relationship from friendship to boyfriend/girlfriend?
Haruka/Tsuwabuki Daigo | May/Steven Stone
Like May/Brendan, I don't mind if you use the dynamics of R/S/E or ORAS in writing this couple :) What I like about this pairing is how Steven Stone respects May (player character) because she proves herself worthy of respect, despite her being new to Pokemon training. Possible prompts: finding each other again after Steven's disappearance, bringing out hidden feelings, travelling together to a different region, letters while apart, their thoughts on each other during and after the games, he finally comes back to Hoenn and confronts feelings that won’t disappear; she chases him to another region and challenges him there; spending holidays (or any holiday) together. Why does Steven leave May a Beldum (is there anything more to this action) and what events occur because of it? First dates, last dates (as single people), not-dates that are dates?
Prince of Tennis
Shiraishi Kuranosuke/Ryuzaki Sakuno
One of my favorite rare pairs in the Prince of Tennis fandom, I find them adorable in the one scene that they shared in the anime/manga :) I'd love any take on how they could get together (especially with Sakuno's feelings for Ryoma), how they act with each other on dates (does Shiraishi convert Sakuno into raising poisonous plants? Does Sakuno start using more mushrooms in cooking thanks to Shiraishi) or how their respective friends find out they're together :) Shiraishi Kuranosuke is the perfect gentleman. Ryuzaki Sakuno is perfectly clumsy. They balance each other out. Maybe there is an exchange program that one of them participates in? Or another training camp with their schools that help them get to know each other better?
Tortall - Tamora Pierce
I love Tamora Pierce and her Tortall Universe and would love anything with any of my requested ships in this universe :) I've read all the Tortall books so there is no worry of spoilers :) Canon-divergent AUs are very welcome here :)
Alanna of Pirate's Swoop and Olau/George Cooper
I like how easy they are with each other at most all points in their relationship - what I like about them is how they know to hold each other back and when not to. Missing moments in any point of the series, George's thoughts on letting Alanna go on her adventures/everything she got up to, any adventures they had together (when they travel with the Own, etc.), moments with their kids, or just being together. (The written account of George and Alanna's wedding? Or how George managed to deliver Thom while they were on a mission?):) If Alanna had become a Convent Lady/Healer/Sorcerer instead of a Knight, how would they have gotten together?
Domitan of Masbolle/Keladry of Mindelan
There are so many possibilities for this and I love the potential for this couple :) How Dom always backs Kel up, how she knows to trust him in matters of command :) How he makes her laugh. How she amuses him with what she does. I'd love anything you could come up with for this two, be it post-canon fic, in between missing moments fic, AU fic, anything! How would these two get into a relationship - will it be after the war or during the war? (Does something happen at Raoul's wedding?) Established relationship - how would these two have a relationship while Kel does her knight duties and Dom travels with the King's Own? Growing old together (and raising little knights/Ownsmen/Riders)? Letter writing! He always makes her smile. Does Dom's squad help out at New Hope during the war?
Faleron of King's Reach/Keladry of Mindelan
There isn't much basis for this given how little we see of Faleron, but what we do see is how much they respect each other, even if Faleron is older than Kel. Anything about them would be lovely - maybe they write letters to each other as the war dies down or during squirehood? Or maybe they run into each other at Court after the war? How would a relationship between them develop and sustain itself? Missing moments as Pages/Squires? What if Faleron is stationed at New Hope, after a while - would anything develop there? He wants to rewrite laws for her, especially the ones she makes obsolete. Being teased by their friends by their possible feelings/relationship?
Merric of Hollyrose/Keladry of Mindelan
Compared to the other ships I requested for Tortall, Kel and Merric seem to have the rockiest relationship with each other - they aren't as easygoing with each other as they could be due to so many circumstances (which I'd like to see addressed in any story where they are dealing with feelings for each other). Both of them are so proud and one of Merric's defining moments for me is his swallowing his pride to follow/apologize to Kel during Lady Knight. How would a relationship between them bloom? (And how would their friends react to it? I suspect heavy teasing.) Growing older together, maybe sending a child to knight training? Or just unresolved tension at New Hope/post-War? (With Neal/other friends meddling?) Maybe they see each other across the jousting quintain? (Or one of them watches the other tackle Wyldon/Lord Raoul?) She's his moral compass and reality check. Maybe he tries his best not to be reassigned from New Hope much to Kel's confusion? Jealous Merric!
