Everything is wonderful, Hanners thinking about herself and having metaphors for what she means, but what she is isn't an expensive pen that can write upside down - she's a dragon. She left her castle and spread her wings and that was terrifying, but she's not something you can keep in your pocket and expect never to change. She will change and fly and breath fire.
This is so perfect, Doris.
And I am struck anew with the fact that vergoldung would absolutely worship Hanners if she ever had the chance.
