When you think about it, really think about it, there are worse places to live than the memory chip of somebody else's mobile. In the pod of a wrecked starship, for example, or in the metal shell of a Dalek. She doesn't have a body anymore, but she doesn't really miss it. The taste of souffles, yeah. The feel of silky dresses draped over skin. Having fingers to type with, and real keyboards that clattered under her hands. Lips to kiss with. But she lost those a long time ago.
This is different. This is weird. This is totally freaking mental, and no one would believe her if she tried to explain; no one would understand. But she's bits and bytes and more herself than she ever was when she had a body. Her whole world is a couple cm of plastic with a wifi hookup, and she can go anywhere she wants. Couldn't say that for The Alaska. She can see the stars if she wants to, be a spark if she wants
