I did go and vote already. Ended up leaving half of everything blank. Apparently, I didn't investigate enough...I didn't know judges were on the ballot ( Read more... )

I don't know how many people see Adm 2 as that only! If you read it, it plainly says anything other than plain old male/female legal marriage won't be legal. This means civil unions (which most people think is an okay alternative to gay marriage...but whatever), common-law marriage (heterosexuals get screwed too!) and anything that doesn't fit into the "God approves this, here's your paperwork" won't be legal in Florida!

Have to love Adm 1 though...will be almost amusing if that one doesn't pass. How ass-backward can the state of Florida be? We'll find out.

Well, fortunately, I don't think they're fooling as many people as they think they are. But the people who just listen to commercials and those who are whiplash against gay marriage will just jump on it BECAUSE.

But the commercials and signs for "Yes" flat out LIE, which is what REALLY pisses me off.

Does Florida recognize common law marriage? I thought we didn't. But that aside fully agreed. :3

....

what?

WHAT??

HOW does defining marriage as "one man/one woman" affect CHILDREN? The only thing it is going to do is HURT a bunch of people.

Excuse me while I fume.

I voted no on all the Amendments, the damn state doesnt need any more dumbass laws... and I always vote to kick the judges out. Judges get too.. complacent in their roles if they get to comfortable in their position.
