Maybe the maintainer of that group will read this post?
You could maybe ask the mod of clucky to write a quick note to the mod of clothdiapering, because she knows you're a cool trustworthy person. Just a thought, good luck!
I think it's so silly when people have to be "allowed" into a community. I understand being careful and that sorta thing but come on, at some point people have to take responsibility for themselves, ya know? Look around, google cloth diapers, I'm sure there is another community out there on the internet that is just as good as the livejournal one.
If you never got into clothdiapering'> or even if you did try <lj user=, i've found them more useful. I have an awesome mei tai that I made from fleece, totally recommend that fabric, it's my favorite. My favorite sling when my daughter was an infant was my moby wrap, totally recommend those and they are so easy to make. I was never a fan of my ring sling but I had one I didn't make and the fabric around the rings didn't feel secure. But I just made one for a friend of mine and I took two 2" metal O rings and wrapped them with hemp string, no question about that thing not slipping.
