A very, very late b-day pressie

*achem*

A bit over 6 months ago, a certain lovely lady had a birthday. I promised her a Jeeves/Wooster fic, and now, finally, she can have it. Ignoring that it's now closer to an early birthday present than a late one:

Happy Birthday, skyblue_reverie! I hope you like it. :-D

Oh, your Bertie voice is wonderful -- and I love the slow progression of the relationship, and wouldn't mind a few more re-tellings of those c.s of e.s.

Thank you for posting this!

Your Bertie voice is lovely. The smile-addiction is also lovely. Basically this is a big pile of lovely with some sprinkling of win.

Oh, tha'ts adorable! And it makes perfect sense that the physical side of their relationship would grow slowly, with Jeeves ever-patient.

This is both romantic and rather hot: a lovely combination.

Thank you! Glad it makes sense to you. :-D

Hooray for romantic and hot! I was aiming for that, but I'm a bit nervous when it comes to writing those two.

Lovely fic! I love that it is Bertie that starts things. My favourite part:Jeeves was hardly surprised. That is, his eyes did widen ever so slightly for the quickest of moments, but I suspect that the chap had known about my emotions and their nature for quite a while. I was not disappointed at all when he responded to my affection with another of his cotton-balls and melted chocolate inducing smiles. I beamed back at him and that was, as they say, that.
I hope you will write more Jooster.
