You know what really grinds my gears?

Grammar errors.

When I used to read a book, I would have a pencil stuck behind my ear. Every time I found something in the text that just didn't sit well with me, I would cross it out and correct it. If the error was obscenely horrible, I would sometimes write a paragraph on how bad it was next to it.

Whoever lives above me has this weird-ass Close Encounters of the Third Kind-esque alarm clock-cum-night light thing. And damn is it bright and loud. The light and sound signals freak the shit out of me. Even worse, it comes on @ 2AM, and turns off sometime around 5AM ( Read more... )
