I love our new house, but as with houses, things break. The second thing to crap out in our house was the dishwasher. (The first thing was the sump in the front yard. The microwave has a random blackish burned spot inside where the door should seal. And one of the last times I used it, it emitted a burning smell. It sits unplugged on the counter until we need to use it, which, thankfully, isn't that often. (It's more commonly used as a bread box to keep Cliff from eating the bread.) I want to replace it with a microwave and convection oven combo.
(Actually, my mixer is ready to go, too. It's Mom's old wanna-be Kitchen Aid (it's a Sunbeam or something) and it need to be retired.

I hope you get to replace some of those soon... although maybe you can sell your dishwasher on craigslist. Humping whales has to turn SOMEONE on!
