(( OOC: Warnings: Spoilers for Fay's past. Also, blood, suicide and dead bodies. Also some headcanon, but that's more for artistic license than anything else.
Backdate: To the beginning of the nightmare affect, and of course it reoccurred as expected.
Dream Effect: Totally up to you players, since I think this is pretty horrifying on its own. ))

In Valerian fortune-telling, there is a card with a tower on it. Its being drawn represents sudden, violent change and upheaval for individuals, families, communities or even countries. It was drawn on the day of the birth of the twins, and it seemed they would never escape it, for a similar tower would become their prison for an untold number of years. Yuui was the one thrown at the base of it, into a deep pit that rose up around it on all sides. When he hit bottom, he did not land on snow or ice or even hard ground.
Only bodies.
Bodies that would never decay, the bodies of sinners. This was a place only sinners were thrown.
The twins' only sin was that they were born together.
Yuui never even tried to count the days, but they most certainly passed. He spent them, always, trying to climb the wall of the pit. If he could get out, if he could escape, then he could use the powers he was born with to save his brother and escape to another country where simply living wasn't a sin. His eyes were always fixed above, to the top of the tower where his brother was, his voice always calling to the sky. He told him they would escape, over and over again, since that was their only hope.
And then, bodies began to be thrown into the pit more frequently. More and more and more of them. These people were not dressed in the clothes of sinners. Women, children, the respected elders, all joined the young twin in the ice and snow, never to decay, never to rot. In his desperation, he apologized to them silently and began stacking them against the wall. Forever stacking them ... and the dead rained down as he worked.
Why were there so many more ...?
His desperation gave away to crushing horror. His country, the one that had turned its back on him, was slowly being murdered. Was this their fault? Simply because they were born ...
Simply because they were born ...
Because they were born ...
The raging spectre of the sovereign of Valeria was suddenly crawling toward him, gouts of blood flowing from everywhere on his body. Yuui tried to scramble away from him, his breath stolen by fear, but he found himself trapped against the wall of the tower. The sovereign raged and cursed before driving his sword through his own neck, staining the snow and bodies even further.
There was blood everywhere ...
Blood ...
His crushing horror gave way to insanity.
There was nothing but screaming and pain for so long, before the insanity gave way to the silence of snow.
And then ... that man ...
Yes ...
Because this is a nightmare, Yuui was still the one to send his brother to his death. At the first scrap of offered freedom, of course such a child, mad with confusion and pain, would turn on his twin. Of course he would beg to be set free.
And his twin was thrown free of the tower, and became one of the stains on the ground.
As Fay clutched a body, his body, thebodyofhistwin!hisotherhalf!, the tower fell.
Just like in the image of the card.

[Fay doesn't even wake up once it's over. He unconsciously has gone back to sleeping on his stomach, his long bangs covering his face so his expression can't be seen. Eventually the feed dies on its own.]
