Well in my country, our tradition is kind of different. On the eve of when St. Nicholas gives children presents, a demon comes and punishes the children who have been bad that year.
But that usually happens on the fifth or sixth of December. It's long past that time, so I can relax. Plus, people said they would help me, if he did appear.
