Star Trek
I liked that they basicallly gave themselves carte blanche by setting this up as, essentially, an Ultimate Star Trek universe. However, I'm curious if the idea of branching timelines as propagated by Marvel Comics time travel stories is the way time travel has historically worked in Star Trek. Then again, maybe it was dimensional travel AND time travel and all bets are off.
Also... I would like to know what the significance of a black hole appearing near Saturn would have on our solar system.
I have a feeling there will be some science nerd issues with this film, but overall it was a pretty good time, and they put all Trekkie continuity worries by the wayside.
