This afternoon someone at the power station fucked up and turned off a quarter of Missoula for, like, eight minutes! It was CRAZY. I was sitting in the back room at work wrapping a Twilight boxset (ooh la la) when the power went out and it was PITCH black back there. I had to feel my way to the door to the front where everyone was standing at ( Read more... )

Our store is at one of the BIGGEST intersections in town,

AHAHAHAHAHAAA. I have seen this intersection. I DON'T BELIEVE YOU.

Omg omg I'm so excited to read that! Hopefully I'll be able to stop at the library after work, if only to get out of my funk, ugh.

Oh nooo, Ty! Poor thing. I glad he's okay though!

HA HA SHUUUUT UP. It IS big! We locals call it Malfunction Junction!

I hope you had fun at the liiibrary! I sort of don't go to the library anymore since I spend ALL my time in a store full of books that I get super cheap. I used to pretty much live at the public library when I was a kid though.

All the reviews on Amazon say The Name of the Wind is either really good, or really crappy. Now I'm tempted to read it just so I'll know which ones are right... not that I don't believe you! But you know. I'm curious.

The people who say it's really crappy are DUMB. Ha, no, I really enjoyed it SO MUCH. Like, four of my co-workers all separately recommended it to me, so it definitely has the Book Exchange stamp of approval.

Ooh, scary! Glad you got out of there without tripping over something.

A book recommendation, yay! I'll have to check it out. And while you're waiting you can read the first part of the first book of my trilogy, right?

Hope your dog is all right, and have fun dancing!

Thank you so much, Kate! I haven't heard back from anyone yet (except for Sarah who told me she never got the email, so I sent a new one to her) and I've been so nervous about what people think. Yay, encouragement! *hugs*
