August 19th was my 10 year high school reunion. So much fun! I knew Doug was going, and David and I had planned to meet up, but other than that, I had no idea who else would really be there. I ended up turning into The Buttes at the same time as Doug. We parked together and started to walk up. We ended up walking in with Aaron Newsome and Kevin Do, which was nice. The class met in the bar area of the restaurant for happy hour. People would walk in and we couldn't tell what part of the couple we graduated with... I ended up finding David and we hung out together and got caught up. I talked with Rekha and Amy Carpenter. Then we headed down to the private area, got our name tags and had fun. We took a group photo, which didn't turn out all that wonderful. I had a great time! The invitation said 6-9... The dancing didn't start until almost 9. It hit 10 and then 11... Then I left after 12 when it was over. Oops. Had to work the next day. Four hours of sleep is NOT fun to work on.

Mom and I took a quick side trip to California August 26. We jumped on the first plane to San Diego, took the bus to the trolley station and the trolley to Sea Port Village. We walked around, had breakfast and then got on the SEAL tour... It's like the duck tour that we did in Seattle. It was a great tour. In the middle of the bay, I checked my phone and had 2 missed calls from Brittanae and 3 texts saying "call me". I looked at my mom and said "They're pregnant." We didn't talk for another 45 minutes or so but she says "I think I'm pregnant... I took a test and it was positive." Silly Britt! That means you ARE pregnant :) Mom and I took the trolley up to Old Town and had a yummy yummy lunch, before catching the trolley back to the main station, catching the bus from there to the airport, and being 2 of only 3 non-revs to get on the flight. It was a quick flight but so nice!

Kar and I saw Steve-O perform his stand up act in Phoenix. Very good. Super nice dude who took photos with every single person who wanted one.

I turned 29. It bothers me a lot that it's 30 next year. I think it's a combination of not being married/having kiddos yet, and ithe weather changing. It's getting cooler (well, you know, not 110, only 103) and I just want that person to cuddle with and blah blah blah. Excuse the blueness :)

Tonight! We're celebrating Kar's birthday one last time. Yes, it was 3 weeks ago. But it's Hanson at the Marquee :)
