When did everything suddenly change?

Please try to explain to me why all of a sudden when you turn 21, your life becomes about alcohol. There is no fun to life anymore unless it involves beer, vodka, liquor, or some kind of alcohol. What's there to do on a Friday night? Dancing at a club? Watching a movie downtown? Getting something to eat
