My Life: It's Hard.

Having British colleagues is terrible for my work ethic. When I talk to them on the phone, I constantly have to remind myself to pay attention to what they're saying and not just listen to their voices. That they all have fantastic senses of humor does not help.

Oh, wow, how selfless of you to offer! I'll see about getting calls routed to you whenever I go on vacation. In the meantime, I might just try asking them to repeat things over and over and over again, just to clarify, you know.
